Connecting California to Improve
Patient Care is an annual Health Information Exchange (HIE)
conference featuring presentations by regional and national subject
matter experts. Attendees will learn best practices in health
information policy, clinical informatics and HIE operations. The
conference will examine standards-based HIE technology deployments,
the current status of ARRA
investments in health IT in California, and software roadmaps for
the CONNECT
gateway, the Direct Project,
and the PCAST
report. Health IT vendors will offer solutions to improve patient
care delivery in hospital and physician office settings.
Pre-conference Workshop:
Privacy and Security Panel Discussions on Thursday afternoon July 14th,
the day before the Redwood MedNet HIE Conference.
